Miguel Barrionuevo
Maestro of equitation. Miguel Barrionuevo, who was born in Malaga, began his training under Don Luis Ramos Paul in Sevilla and later moved to Portugal to learn from the legendary Nuno Oliveira and from Luis Valenca Rodrigues. When he finished his training he moved to Malaga in order to begin his equestrian career. He opened Centro Ecuestre Artequus, and in the beginning he presented himself at various competitions and won the title Champion of Andalucia in the years 1992 y 1993 to in 1995 become Champion of the Chanmpions in the same show.
Alejandro Barrionuevo
Ridning instructor specialising in the high school and "doma vaquera". "The most important things in my horses are the lightness, the flexibility and harmony. Later the connection between the horse and rider is what makes the equitation advance." Alejandro Barrionuevo has studied under Don Miguel Barrionuevo, Don Luis Valenca, and Don Alvaro Domec.

Riding instructor and supervisor at Artequus that has studied under Don Miguel Barrionuevo the last 16 years. Juan is an exellent rider and very patient teacher!
