Why not combine your trip to Spain with some high school dressage lessons!
Are you one of those who always have dreamt of riding a horse that is proud, strong and explosive but at the same time balanced, perfectly controllable and reactive? Then Artequus is for you! On our Iberian horses you have the possibility to ride the high school movements you’ve always dreamt of. You will also learn the key to the riding... Yes, I said key! Namely how to get the horse ready for the movements. If you have no experience, don’t worry, our horses and tutors are perfect gentlemen and will make you feel right at home. And if you already can ride? You are very welcome to practise your sensitivity and timing or perfect one of the high school movements. Our Maestro Miguel Barrionuevo invites you to close your eyes and feel how the horse is carrying you in piaffe or passage.
Welcome or as in Spanish - Bienvenidos!
A one week schedule could be:
Five days riding, two sessions a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We’ll have lunch in one of the restaurants in the area between sessions. You have your evenings to do other things. If you are interested in buying a Spanish horse we can dedicate one day of the week to visit one of the breeders we know. The last day would be your spare free day. The classes cost 60 Euros per session. However, one should bear in mind that the high school movements tire the horses more and may shorten the session. On Mondays we’re closed due to rest of staff and horses.
On the left you’ll find a list of hotels and other things to do in the area.
